Subject: Missed opportunity

Hi everybody. I was all excited about meeting Joanna Cameron in person on November 20 at the Boston SuperMegaFest. I paid $95 to have dinner with her. I wanted more than just a hello, an autograph, and pose for a photo with her. I wanted to spend time with her and talk about ISIS over dinner. I drove all the way to Framingham from Vermont only to find out she cancelled the dinner. I wonder if it was from a lack of interest because only three people including myself paid for this opportunity. Or perhaps something important came up or she wasn't feeling good. I didn't get a direct answer from the promoter. I got my money back on the spot, but I was sad. I've met celebrities before, but this would have been my first chance to actually spend quality time with someone famous. I really hope she will offer another dinner opportunity at her next show. The show in Framingham was the perfect place because I could drive there and be home the same day. Now it looks like I may end up flying to her next appearance. Has anyone ever had dinner with her at one of her shows? If yes, email me or respond on here and tell me all about it. Thanks! David
