I can't really answer your question. I think it would be a fair assumption that if you're paying postage both ways and sending payment for the autograph, that it would be just fine.

Probably the best thing to do, though, would be to write Joanna a letter first, out of courtesy, to be sure. She might be delighted to sign it for you, or she might not want to sign merchandise, for fear of such an expensive/irreplacable item getting lost/damaged in the mail, etc.

So, I don't THINK you'd have anything to worry about, but obviously, the decision (and responsibility) is yours and yours alone. I do strongly recommend sending a letter first, though.
