"Legend of Isis" has nothing to do with the TV show. It's a separate comic book series. The goddess Isis gets pulled 5000 years into the future and finds herself trapped in 21st century Los Angeles in a world that has no memory of her existence. With no way back to her time and bad guys crawling out of the woodwork, she does what any self-respecting goddess would do - become a superheroine.

The one issue I read had beautiful artwork, but the dialogue screamed Buffy the Vampire Slayer wannabe. Having said that, the series does seem to have a cult following. There is also a feature film supposedly in development from Kelsey Grammer's production company. (Yes, Dr. Frasier Crane is in the movie production biz.) I personally would much rather see a big budget production of the TV show. Then again everyone else on this board would like that, too.
