>>>Ummmm, any idea about what the comic, "The Legend of
>>>Isis" is about? Is this a new spinoff on the original
>>>or what? Are they any good?
>>"Legend of Isis" has nothing to do with the TV show.
>>It's a separate comic book series. The goddess Isis
>>gets pulled 5000 years into the future and finds
>>herself trapped in 21st century Los Angeles in a world
>>that has no memory of her existence. With no way back
>>to her time and bad guys crawling out of the woodwork,
>>she does what any self-respecting goddess would do -
>>become a superheroine.
>>The one issue I read had beautiful artwork, but the
>>dialogue screamed Buffy the Vampire Slayer wannabe.
>>Having said that, the series does seem to have a cult
>>following. There is also a feature film supposedly in
>>development from Kelsey Grammer's production company.
>>(Yes, Dr. Frasier Crane is in the movie production
>>biz.) I personally would much rather see a big budget
>>production of the TV show. Then again everyone else
>>on this board would like that, too.
>I had bought the comic years ago.It has absolutely

http://www.aliasenterprises.com/projects.html is the website of the comic book company. I have to agree. It's only Isis' costume, or okay, half of it, with a Buffy storyline.

Bought the first four at a convention and I'd be hard pressed to search out the rest, though the writer of the book admits the first four are weaker than later issues.
