I am very happy that you did not pick up the phone!! Congrats! As for adoption, you have a bit of time on that issue yet. I used to have a friend that did independent adoption counseling and she always suggested that you wait until you feel the baby move before deciding on adoption if that is something you are considering. There is certainly no rush there. I hope that there will be happier times for you very soon! Please let me know how it goes with the domestic abuse counselor. Sometimes they can help to relocate you, get restraining orders (if there isn't one already) and help you to find services. Also, you might be able to find some practical help at a local Crisis Pregnancy center as well as referrals for resources. Stay strong! --Melanie
