Hi Courtney,
Welcome to the board.A home pregnancy test will confirm a pregnancy within three days before your missed period but most pregnancy test will confirm a pregnancy by the first day of your missed period. If I were you I would take a home pregnancy test.
There are other things that can make your period late and one of those things is stress. So, the more you sit and worry yourself the longer it could actually be before your period starts.
Any time you have unprotected sex or sex in general you run the risk of pregnancy. Even sex with a condom, birth control pills, or other forms of birth control still have a failure rate. There is a chance that you could be pregnant, but most women don't experience nausea, vomiting, or what is called "morning sickness" until five to six weeks of pregnancy. That is not to say that some women dont' experience this earlier or later. I think that your nervous and that could be giving you the sick feeling.
The best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. Were here for you, please let us know if we can help you in any way. If you ever need to talk feel free to email me any time.
God Bless,
Lori
