Hi Kourtney,

I appreciate your post, and am glad you found this site. I do agree with your saying it is the woman's choice. It undoubtedly is. I try to encourage other women to remember this when they are feeling pressured into an abortion by a boyfriend, spouse or parent. The choice is the woman's as it is her body, her life, and her conscience that she will abide with.

If your mind is made up to have the abortion, I won't try to talk you out of it. Just remember that you always have the option, even up to the last minute, of changing your mind. You don't have to be a parent right now if you feel being one would undo you. Adoption is a win/win situation for most, and filling the hole in the heart and arms of a woman/couple who would love a child to love and raise, and preserving the dignity of the woman and her unplanned baby.

Life is always full of unexpected turns; sometimes the biggest surprises are the most beautiful and rewarding ones.

But regardless of what you choose, please know that you're respected as a woman, you're more than welcome here, and I wish you the best. Take care of yourself.

With Kindness,

Heather
