Hi, Maxine,

In my opinion? No, abortion is NOT the right way out. It is a deep invasion of a woman's body, and it is dangerous. It could disable and even kill you. There are other answers. What's best for you is not to do something you may regret for the rest of your life. Many women never recover emotionally from abortion.

We have a school here that would be perfect for you if you were here. You probably have one in your community as well, and if not, you may be able to go and live in a community that does. The girls who attend the school are usually pregnant, and they continue their high school courses and get a diploma. Special arrangements are made so that their babies are taken care of and they can go to school.

You probably also have a crisis pregnancy agency in your area. They can help you with any problems you face. You can find a local one by going to this web site:

www.pregnancycenters.org

As for your boyfriend, nobody knows what he will do, probably not even he. But take his word for it, accept his promise, and move forward. If it becomes a problem later, you can handle that at the time. If he deserves you, he WILL be there for you. This is his baby, too!

Please keep in touch.

Hugs,
Pat
