I'm glad you felt comfortable coming back to give an update. I hope things go well for you, and feel free to post anytime. If at any point you feel like you'd benefit from post abortion counseling, don't hesitate to check out the nearest Pregnancy Resource Center. They offer this service free and it's been very helpful to a lot of women. Many women are at least 6mos post abortive so it's an option you can hold on to for later if you need it.

I hope you take care of yourself physically and be sure to get lots of rest and high iron foods/supplements.

Hi Jacqueline. I'm glad you are o.k.

It's normal to want to be pregnant again right away. That is very common, actually. In fact, it's not so uncommon for a woman to get pregnant again very soon after an abortion. (They call it an atonement baby.) An initial relief is also quite common. Sorry to hear about the complications. That is far more common than people think, unfortunately. Please do go for follow-up care just to be on the safe side. Also, if you run a fever (even a low grade one) you should definitely get in asap.
