Wow... is it hard to adjust to the idea that there is just one baby when you thought it was twins... or was it more of a relief? You tend to think that they usually can see this with ultrasounds and all these days, but I guess they still miss things sometimes.

Good names. My son's name is Nathaniel, and he goes by Nathan. I don't really like the nickname "Nat" and I would tell people that it was the one concern I had about naming him Nathaniel, that I thought "Nat" sounded like a but. The day I got out of the hospital the BC comic said, "Gnat... "a gnickname for Gnathaniel." I about died laughing... was he listening or something? LOL Anyway, just thought I'd share that. I love the name Nathan, though. Benjamin is good, too.

I know it will be a big relief for you when the baby is finally here. Try not to anticipate all of the problems... even with a prior loss it is much more likely at 7.5 months that everything will be fine. So, try to relax if you can (usually much easier said, than done.)

Take care and God's blessings,
Melanie

Hot diggety dog! Hi, Amber! I'm really happy for you. Your baby is old enough to be born and do fine. At this point, s/he might still require special care, but the chances of being healthy are very great.

I know you have had a lot of heartbreak, and things have been really tough, so I am especially glad things are finally going well for you. Let us know as soon as your baby is born!

We love you!

Hugs,
Pat
