WIC provides nutrition and health assessment counseling including breastfeeding support, food vouchers for specific nutritious foods and referrals to health and social services.
Eligibility: Residents of Hennepin County who are pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum, infants, children up to age 5, income eligible (based on income and family size), have a nutritional or health need
Hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm or 11:30 am - 7 pm Monday - Friday. Hours and days of service vary depending on service location site. There are 11 service locations.

Total obstetric care for low income persons who do not have health insurance or who are eligible for Medical Assistance. Service is provided on a sliding fee scale for those without insurance. Services include: Complete prenatal care, Home nursing visits as needed, Six weeks post-partum check, Referrals to specialists, Nutritional counseling, Deliveries at Fairview University Medical Center - Riverside Campus, and Social services including assistance with financial options, counseling, parenting education, adoption information, support and education groups, information and referral to community resources.
