Hey ladies. I went to my BP rechck on thursday and it was up and I had protein in my urine. Plus 3. So, I got sent to the hospital. I got worse while there so they sent me to Duke. I am on bedrest until Brayden comes. I knew I'd get pre-clampsia again. They put me on magnesium last night and after 2 hrs or so of that and a catheter, everything got drastically better. Thank God!! Brayden is doing amazing and i feel beter not hooked up to everything. i am 30 wks today. So he has a good chance. I just hope we can hold out one more wek atleast. They will be doing an u/s monday to check his size and fluid again. Thursday night, he showed as being right on target for growth and weighed around 3 lbs. That's awesome!! To make things better, my dad works on computers for the anesthesiology department a Duke. so he has personally talked with the department and they have all been checking in on me! It's nice to feel like I have people here. And since I'll be here during the week he can come visit me too. Garry has been going to work for a while each day to save up money and save his vacation for when B actually says it's time. So, it gets kinda lonely. Luckily my dad wokin here got me set up with the internet!! so I can keep in touch. Take care everyone and please keep us in your thoughts. I hope to have a healthy baby. I am terrified!
Love,
Jamie

Man, I'd LOVE a whole week of bedrest!! With internet access? And they feed you?? ;)

Just kidding, but I am glad to hear you're being well taken care of. How nice that your dad knows people there. I hope you'll take advantage of the opportunity to get lots and lots of sleep. Just think of it in terms of it being charging Braydon's battery to grow the extra mile before his arrival. I'm really glad to hear he's doing okay, too. I agree at 30 weeks and 3lbs his survival odds are quite good - even better for another week or two.

I'm really glad to hear that things seem to be a little more resolved between you and Gary, too. How are things with your mother in law? Is she watching your little ones for you while you're in the hospital?

Heather
