Birth Control pills will not effect the results of a pregnancy test. The pregnancy test that you take tests the levels of hcg in your urine so birth control will not effect it. To my knowledge the only drugs that can effect a pregnancy test are fertility drugs. Doctors don't know the effects of birth control pills on the developing fetus so it might be a good idea to stop taking the pills until you know for sure that you are not pregnant. You can contact your local crisis pregnancy center and they will give you a free pregnancy test. They also offer counseling, information on pregnancy etc. YOu can find your local crisis pregnancy center by going to www.pregnancycenters.org . Please keep us updated.
