Hey Janice,
After talking with you about finding a place to have the picnic on Sunday, I did some searching and found these two parks. The websites were not too informative but they did give numbers and addresses of where they are located. Maybe you know more about them.
1.) Clarence Fahnestock State Park

2.) Sycamore Park
790 Long Pond RD.
Mahopac.
Just a thought I have no Idea about them so I'll leave it up to you
