 John, they come pretty much on any method you choose. Deadbait, livebait, lures, flies. Thirty pound plus is not uncommon, even one or two forties come out every year. Favourites for me are rubber lures, soft jerkbaits, flies. If you are into lures then go to www.lurefishinguk.co.uk.
I take it from your introduction that you're somewhere around New England ?
