Ab ersten Januar 2010 wird in Tschechien der Besitz von bis zu 15 Gramm Cannabis zum Eigengebrauch straffrei. Auch bisher schon wurde der Besitz geringer Mengen selten geahndet, bis zu welcher Menge das der Fall ist war aber nicht offiziell bekannt.

Auch Konsumenten anderer Drogen als Cannabis sollen nicht verfolgt werden, sofern sie z.B. nicht mehr als vier Ecstasy-Pillen oder ein Gramm Kokain bei sich haben.
