Subject: LATE BRENDAN MAGILL!

I was saddened to hear of the death of Brendan Magill who has died in Lurgan Co Armagh.
Brendan was National Organiser of Sinn Fein here in England in the nineteen sixties and seventies - but severed his ties with Provisional Sinn Fein in 1986. He was served with an Exclusion Order in November 1974 following the Birmingham bombings which separated him from his family in London.
He served time in prison both in Britain and Ireland for his republican beliefs but remained faithful to the cause all his life.
My condolences to his wife Frances and his children and grand-children.
