Subject: PoW NOEL MAGUIRE TRANSFERRED TO MAGHABERRY PRISON.

Republican PoW Noel Maguire - currently serving a 22-year sentence - was transferred late last night from HMP Whitemoor in Cambridgeshire - to Maghaberry Prison in County Antrim.
This brings to an end an eight year campaign for repatriation/transfer to a prison in Ireland to serve the remainder of his sentence and be closer to family and friends.
Although Noel was refused repatriation on at least four occasions he intends to continue his campaign for repatriation to Portlaoise on the grounds his human rights have been breached - and his entitlemenr under European Union legislation.
We will continue to support Noel in his endeavours and wish him well in the future.
