Large sprays of flowers, which included Easter Lillies, were laid on both sides of Mary's coffin, which was placed on a white Irish-lined covered bed. These bore cards reading Mrs. Terry McWeeney Gavin, Irish Political Status Committee, London, and Irish Freedom Comittees of North America. The family wreath was made up of the letters-M-A-M-M-Y with small tri-colour bows on each letter. Yesterday, the coffin, covered in the national flag was carried in relays, of both men and women, the whole distance from her family's home to St. Eugene's Cathedral.
