Would the Civil Rights Veterans' CKJCampaign Banner be
welcome at Bodenstown? We very much doubt it!

Capt. Kelly came to the Occupied Six-Counties and did more than any of his latter-day critics to take steps to defend the Nationalist/Catholic minority at a time when positive action was needed, not a load of hot air and empty gestures. He and his family greatly suffered as a result of the official orders he was given, which the 'Lynch-Mob' quickly distanced themselves from, and as a result bowed to London, and licked the imperialists' boots. Now, so-called Republicans/Anti-Imperialists are giving us more hot air and empty gestures, as if 1969 never happened at all, at all, and the Capt. K's of this world were not even needed. That surely will be viewed as highly-welcome by the Decommissioning Brigade - those who once proclaimed-Smash Stormont-Oppose the DPP's-District Policing Partnerships-Not A Bullet Not An Ounce etc.,etc. What a load of shit the Provo rank-and-file swallowed before they even realised the set menu for fools, which was cleverly-disguised Constitutional Nationalism, Not Traditional Republicanism. "The Fools, the fools, the fools, they have left us our Fenian dead, and Ireland Unfree, shall never be at peace"-Now who said that, could have been PH Pearse at the grave of O'Donovan Rossa in 1915???? The current Stormont-Brigade must surely have filled more graves and jails that PH Pearse could even have dreamt possible, and what the men and women of 1916-23 would have thought of to-day's "Patriots", can only be guessed at.

Most within the Irish Anti-Partition League networks-www.ia-pl.org- generally welcome the fact that at least some measure of co-operation has emerged from last Saturday's "Republican Unity" Conference at the highly conservative-run AOH Hall in Derry City. Last time when a press conference on political prisoners was held in Feb. 2003, the CR Vets were within days publicly banned from "ever again using" those premises. Now all of a sudden, the AOH have changed their minds about "Dissidents" - is it that they have become more radical, or is that being a "dissident" has become either irrelavant or not even topical, any more? However, the IA-PL continue to believe that REPUBLICAN UNITY is an Utopian concept at this juncture, and at the very least those opposed to Stormont-Rule should agree to co-operate on basic patriotic ISSUES & CAMPAIGNS. Even here there will be disagreements on justified efforts such as the Capt.Kelly Justice Campaign's International Petition which can be viewed on www.captainkelly.org It would seem that there are still those who would, wittingly or unwittigly endorse the "Lynch Mob"-led by the patron "Saint of Cork FF"-viz the late Jack Lynch, in spite of all the evidence available to the contrary, even with those who have eyes supposedly to see and ears apparently to hear.

Anti-Stormont Republicanism is thus impaired, and
maybe in the long-run seriously disabled. So much for
over-optimistic opinions, and so much for
retrospective understanding!!!!

The 2007 Lynch Mob thus need have no fear and remains "O'K"-/or as the song might now sound- Go To SLEEP MY WEARY BERTIE-Certain folk pretend to be Whiter than White-Jack Lynch .however still reigns on high, or should that eventually have been Sir Jack?
