I'd have to agree with the main thrust of Martina Anderson's statement.
People could see the decisions being called upon to make and could work out
the consequences and, if they were misled, it's because they wanted to be
misled. The tragedy is that there is no credible leadership there to offer
an alternative, which would perhaps have given them pause. Of course, SF
leadership may be being disingenuous about the long march of policy changes
ahead since the GFA, but every individual step has been consulted on and
tested before they took it so far.
