Groups that I remember playing include: mountain, jethro tull, jose feliciano, 10 years after, sly, grand funk, melanie, eric burden and richie havens.

Led zeplin did not show
Not sure about alice cooper
I think cactus played.

It was structured so that the major acts played at night and canadian bands played in the day - can't remember any of them except at the time a few were getting some us coverage. I also remember leaving the festival for awhile to go to a local lake or pond with some canadians- it was very hot and this helped.
