well well well...you have no idea how hard it was for me to find ANY info regarding this gem of a festival...as i have read some of the postings i am so excited to read menton of similar events at this party...i also entered without a ticket batting my baby browns to some guy who let me through the fence..lol.. just as melanie was on stage....please somebody give me some highlights about the ferris wheel...or was that just a hallucination...ah yessss the seconals and warnings about some nasty acid...i remember very vividly about being grabbed by the arm by some guy i just hooked up with after he mainlined some H ..telling me c'mon we're going to the front...mountain was just comming on and i mean there was not a spare inch of ground to put my feet as i was dragged in my own shall we say purple haze...there was just no helping all the bodies i stepped on to get up there....it was great...leslie west was doing a drum solo and tossed his sticks into the crowd ....i caught one but it was then snatched from my hand by some stoner...i remember some of the performers but can anyone please provide me with an complete list of who all performed..i would love to be able to get a hold of a vintage ticket or any memorabilia about the event...i can relate to not being able to fully explain to the younguns of today how truly lucky and remarable it was to be free in the years of 68 , 69 ,70 & 71...any other anecdotes willing to be shared would be great...so let's hear from ya...
