 I have recently realised that it's 30 years ago this week that I was bobbing about on the SS Uganda ! We picked her up in Venice and then went off to Corfu, Izmir and Athens.

The whole cruise cost GBP 67.00 and we were allowed just GBP 10 each spending money for the entire eleven days - no wonder all of us kids were shoplifting so much !!!

I am glad I kept my log book and dormitory badge. They are about the only material things that I still have to remind me of that innocent time (well, innocent bar a little shoplifting!)

Glad to see this site exists and that so many people have happy memories of their "educational" cruise :o)
