 Nevasa was the ship I sailed on in May 1966. We sailed from Liverpool and visited Madeira,Casablanca,Gibraltar and Lisbon. I was in Raleigh Dormitory, or was that the name of the classroom? I think the cruise cost £37 and we were allowed to take £5 pocket money! Wow! It began in me a love of cruising though.Cruise ships are a lot more luxurious today! It is just wonderful to wake up in a new destination every day without having to pack and unpack each time!
