 Hi, loved your post, happy memories as I was on this cruise too. It wasn't just kids from N. Ireland we were a large contingent from Aberdeen. Remember travelling overnight on a coach from Aberdeen on my birthday 18th Dec, the drink was flowing before we'd left the city! We flew from Gatwick on a Dan-Air Comet too. What a great trip it was, it was my second time on the Uganda and I'd saved up for it as the first trip had had such a positive impact on me. Happy memories! I do seem to remember students from N. Ireland, a good combination - the Scots and the Irish! Down side of the trip was that I got my handbag stolen from the coach in Antalya. Didn't spoil the cruise though. Remember the Quo on the juke boxin the common room - Down the Dustpipe and sunbathing on deck in December!
