i believe i was on that cruise.I went with Robertsbridge school in sussex. The itinery was certainly the same and the year was one of the ones you mention. There were lots of canadian kids in our dorm. I made friends with one called perry who ended up in the sick bay when some lump jumped on his stomach. The other main memory i have is trying to get to the toilet down a corridor avoiding the water sloshing about because the hatch wasnt shut properly during a storm. The rotton swines used to wake us up every morning by blaring music down the tannoy, for years i felt queasy whenever i heard 10ccs im not in love and on one particulaly rough morning they played dont rock the boat. Not very funny when its all you can do to stay in your tiny bunk suspended on chains.I do sometimes wish i had been a little older, i was 12, then i may have appreciated the wonderfull places we visited instead of being intent on buying flick knives and smutty playing cards, most of which were found by the crew during their regular searches. Great web site i havnt thought about any of this stuff for years.
