 Cant believe I have just found this site,it has brought tears to my eyes, such happy memories!! I thought I travelled on the SS Uganda from venice in Oct 81/82 but such a long time ago I am not sure. I do remember swimming in the Dead Sea, visiting the wailing wall, octopus in yugoslavia and B.I. packed lunches, and being woken each morning by 'tunes' such as Hungry like the wolf by Duran Duran!. I won a book token back at my school in Somerset for the impressive log I kept of the journey, wish I kept it. Definately gave me my appetite for travel, would love to hear from anyone who was on same trip.
