 I remember a school cruise Nov 71. The weather was excellent and my school, Hazelwick, Crawley, had a group of about 20. We flew to Venice and visited Cyprus, Athens and Kos, going through the Corinth Canal. All I remember clearly were the tin trays for food and the bunks. Compared to present cruise ships she was tiny. My Dad said she was used as a troop transporter when he was doing national service.
