I think it was 1978 not sure of the month
We flew from Gatwick to Malta there was terrible turbulance and I was sick!
I cannot remember the exact order of travel but we visited Malta, Athens, Cairo, Dubrovnick, Cyprus and Venice.
One of my enduring memories is being sea sick! the only time I stopped being sick was when we were ashore!
I remember the food was "different" and as I felt so sick most of the time, it was like torture going down to the the line for food.
The bunks were squeaky and I always felt I may fall out! (but did not!)
The staff and crew deserved medals - as they spent most of their time mopping up or handing out sick bags!
I remenber Rod Stewarts "Sailing" on the dukebox, and sneaking into the "out of bounds" area to have a look at "how the other half lived!"
Great trip with many good memories
We got stuck in Venice on our return - the plane could not take off due to "ice on the wings"! We watched from the plane as men with brooms swept the wings but had to get off and go to a Hotel overnight!.
It would be great to hear from any others who did the same trip!
