Hi Helen
I am really pleased that someone else remembers the 1968 cruise as I was beginning to think I'd dreamt being on it.I went to Woodchurch Secondary Modern for Boys and I remember most of the normal schools around the Wirral were represented,I knew a Jeanette Clayton from Moreton but not sure whether it was from the Moreton Youth Club or the cruise.
Still in touch with school mates who where also on the cruise and in fact my wife was on the same cruise but didn't really know her or fancy her then.
Had some real memorable moments in La Coruna: Tangiers: Lisbon: and of course Gibraltar,bought my mother a pendant watch in the cafe/shop at the top of the Rock, after a scary ride in the cable car and about six of us bought divers watches in Gibraltar High Street, unfortunately they got waterlogged after a stint in the onboard swimming pool.
