 Who here remembers Jan 1981 cruise 270, we sailed from Valetta to Alexandria, day trip to Cairo and king tuts museum then onto the triangles ( Pyramids) then off toRhodes,Izmir,Heraklion, Itea and finally Split to fly home. I was there with the Sea Cadets and one of two welsh boys( Ginger Jeff Jones was with me) whilst on board I worked in the Galley as a galley hand.
34yrs later I have booked my second ever cruise, this time I'm a guest and not working and travelling on P&O Azura in Aug to Norway and Fjords.
