 My wife's grandfather, SMS 3/C or 2/C Frank H Yuellig, was transported to Iceland aboard the Ariel in 1943. He was part of a Construction Battalion that want to build fuel tanks at a tank farm. As he was not ships company I would not suspect anyone would recall him but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
