Answer to this question is probably lost in time however, I am trying to determine the "loading/berthing" plan for Marine forces on Haskell class APA's. For example, I know that 2nd Battalion 25th Marines transported to Iwo Jima on USS Napa APA-157. I'm trying to determine either berthing area assigned to different companies OR their debarkation stations assigned when loading. Knowledge of berthing area assigned should show which debarkation station used (???) which should show LCVP number they were transported to the beach in. This would aid in trying to identify men heading to the beach by the LCVP number normally visible in the picture.
