 I tried to respond to your email, but Yahoo returned the message as undeliverable.

I am responding to your email regarding military records.

You will need to send in an SF180 form to the government - see this link: http://www.archives.gov/st-louis/military-personnel/index.html
It used to take about 4 - 6 weeks, but with the cuts starting in 2002 it can take up to 3 months or more.
When you fill out the form, be sure to add the line "any information available."

The more information you can provide them, the easier it will be for them to find his records.
