An excellent memorial and showplace for the APA's of WW-II. Not much written about those old work-horses and their crews. I e-mailed a picture of the USS HINSDALE, APA-120, of which I was a member, 1944 - 46, and the damage a Kamikaze incurred on April 1, 1945, just as we approached the Island. Thaks for the endeavor, Shipmate, will visit it often. Resp. J.H. "Hoot" Andrews, Master Chief Petty Officer, USN, Ret.
