My father trained at sampson recruit training center.
His name was albert woodward. I just lost him 3 years ago and all the time i was growing up he said he was on a fishing boat.In his last years he started to talk about the war and he told me he was on a pt boat. in the pacific and i found a sword that he told me about that he pulled off a jap soldier. I would love to build a shadowbox to honer him but i really do not have much info about him.
