 Less than 15% of the records were transcribed by volunteers in the 1990's. Project ended several years ago and will not continue.
I had looked into having the record transcription outsourced, but it would have cost well over $50,000 and it would have been done in India. It never happened.
All of the microfilm now belongs to NY State along with the museum.
