Subject: Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery

 The opening date for the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery is set for July 30th 2011 at 11am at the old Hospital site, 2 miles South of the Sampson State Park and Old Navy training center. We have been waiting for almost 10 years for this to happen and it would be wonderful if some of the Navy Veterans from the Sampson glory days could attend. Given the years that have passed, I know it will be difficult for many Sampson Navy Veterans to attend, but please know, we will be thinking of all the Samson Navy Veterans on July 30th. And to all of the WW2 Navy Veterans from Sampson, Thank You.
