 My father told stories of being in a UDT unit to include some amazing stories when they were not doing beach landings but he was very serious injured in the Philippines and lost a lot of his gear.

My brother and I are very interested in this UDT group because I cannot find him on any lists. His records show him at 7th Amphibian Force Naval Beach Parties, Navy 3115 (NI-A Unit) and the LST 464.

Could you fill me in about this group and were there might be more information?
