We would go to surplus sales on base and pay a nickel or a dime for them. They don't taste that good but I was eating them in the mid 60's and I'm still alive! I also started smoking from the tender age of 10. My folks didn't know they had little packs of Viceroys and pall malls. I thought they were cool because they were Army!
