 My father, Clifton Joseph Reiter served during WWII on the USS Trego. If there are any remaining who served from around 1944 - 1946 on the USS Trego, or relatives of anyone who served during that time I would like to hear from you. My father was very proud of his service. He was probably 31 or 32 at the time and one of the oldest enlisted aboard ship so they called him Doc. I was 4 when he left home and 6 when he returned.
