 I was on the USS Marathon I was part of the plank owners crew on the ship, the first time it sailed . My name is Kennth W. Adkins my ships mates. called me Smokey Remember Jim Basye he was a Deck Hand.Roy Duvall he was a ships cook . Herb Holcomb he was a Motor mac.and Oville Carson he was a ships baker on the Marathon.I do have some sea stories to tell about the young years. My address is Kennth W.
