I believe I posted an inquiry on this site a couple of years ago, but I'm not sure.
I've been looking for anyone who remembers, or served on LCI 774. My father, Louis "Ray" Morrall served on her in the South Pacific in the latter part of the war.
Dad is now turning 79, and has Parkinson's Disease. This year I'm dedicating as much time as I can towards locating old shipmates, getting a reissuing of his medals (lost long ago), and helping him to remember, and talk about, the single most life-altering experience he ever encountered.
I know that it would mean the world to him if any of his old buddies would contact him, to talk about those days, catch up with him about life since then, and remember those that didn't make it back.
