I'd like to ask if anyone might know which ship Robert Raaflaub,EM3 was assigned to after his boot term at Sampson. He was my mom's next door neighbor and she tells me that his ship was the very first to suffer a kamikazi attack and no one onboard survived. She's been looking for this info for years and we found his name on the Sampson Museum website on the wall of remembrance but unfortunatly I don't find any other information on him at all. Would anyone know anything about Robert Rafflaub, EM3 and his assignment. It would be greatly appreciated. He and my mom are both from Syracuse, New York. Thanks!
