Thanks to all who came out and supported the Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul Concert at the Alys Stephens Center. From the enthusiastic crowd, to the wonderful hospitality offered by the Stephens Center, to Joy and Ron Cagel staying up so we could all hang out at Killarneys afterwards, the welcome Ms. Ivers and her band received was spectacular. Many Many Many thanks to Beth (who sings like an angel) and Jason (who plays beautifully and shared original tunes with us all) for staying way past their bedtime and playing with Ms. Ivers. Thanks to the folks from Montgomery who stayed as long as they could (and still get home safely) and to the dancers for working so hard to make the event even more special...seeing our own girls onstage YEE HAA! Looking forward to seeing Ms. Ivers and her band in Alabama again very soon.
