In vintage, we try to showcase an era or period, not the lap times. That said, it is not uncommon for us to group different classes together on the grid (in waves) provided their lasp times are similar. As for your reference to video games:

Modern - Sony Playstation, X Box, internet game rooms
P4 - Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Tron
P3 - Asteroids, Pacman, Space Invaders
P2 - Pinball, Twister, Rummy
P1 - Yahtzee, Bridge, Parchesi
Pre-65 - Bowling, Darts
Pre-50 - Lawn Bowling, Checkers

Hope that helps orient you! Choose your bikes accordingly.
