Having seen reports and comments on the situation along the backs both now and previous.I think a time to judge a coach is not when he can draw on a top club's spare players or sign in transiant one season imports. It is when he has a group of players that he can make better, through individual development and good old fashion skills coaching.I have never seen that happen now or then.

Leave the criticism will you. Some of U are becoming old bores with nothing ever right. Why not judge the coaches taking into account the disruption caused by having to make continual changes? These y men have shown progression every year for the last five years and should be applauded. perhaps you should pop down the road to another club and see what really happens when you dont get things right- or maybe you just are a troublemaker from somewhere else. your sniping is getting boring

Perhaps Banker could enlighten us with examples of coaches in the Championship who have brought backs on this way? I think Messrs Norton and Adams benefitted greatly from their stints with Moseley.

You can't please all the people all of the time, but it would appear that some people just want to moan, and moan and.......

I believe that the progress both on the pitch and being financially astute since our exile to Bournbrook should be applauded. The club is viable and successful on a limited budget. We dont have the funds of Leicester nor Leeds yet are planning vast improvements to the ground and have been successful at Twickenham. Long may the revival continue!

In the backs as well as Norton (hopeless last November but brilliant by the end) and Adams, also Jordi Pasqualin started as a young lad just out of school, played for us for most of last season and now is in GR's 1sst squad - ask him what he thinks about our coaches (and particularly Don Caskie's) contribution to his progress and you'll get a resounding positive answer. Also Dave Lewis in the season before him (also now in GR's squad). Henry Trinder started from nowhere last year and look how he's doing now.

Of our own, McBernie has now come through into our 1st XV squad and it will be interesting to see how he does as well this year.

Pity then as Moseley Matters says that the Rugby Union puts as the good England players through England Academies at Premiership clubs - agree its scandalous that all this does is keep the "cartel at the top with all the best players. Think how much better they'd be if they could spend a couple of seasons at our own Academy playing regular rugby with us! Then we'd really see the benefit of our coaching. Trouble is it would give Banker nothing to whinge about!

I understand their games are analysed in detail by us though and we have a huge input and the major input into their development. Just pushing weights all day in a "PRL cartel" gym is hardly the ideal way to bring players on! Also is a PRL Academy manager going to be better qualified or capable than our own coaches to analyse and develop these players - I think not! My spies tell me that most of the DR lads are very keen to play for us as it brings them on and most have gone on to play for England U20's etc. However you just haveto read what people like Jack Adams say about how they have been brought on at Moseley to understand the enormous benefit they get from our club - a fact not unnoticed by Gloucester which is why they are keen to have so many DR players registered with us.

We as a club will have to be carefull we don't lose such outstanding coaches to another club !
Nearly all of the young players they have helped to develop have gone on to gain caps at 18 20 or sevens or Saxons or full honours !
Adams, norton sharples Williams trinder Abbott may Forster dickenson Rodwell mc Burnie etc etc

Keep up the good work guys
