Just pushing weights all day in a "PRL cartel" gym is hardly the ideal way to bring players on! Also is a PRL Academy manager going to be better qualified or capable than our own coaches to analyse and develop these players - I think not! My spies tell me that most of the DR lads are very keen to play for us as it brings them on and most have gone on to play for England U20's etc. However you just haveto read what people like Jack Adams say about how they have been brought on at Moseley to understand the enormous benefit they get from our club - a fact not unnoticed by Gloucester which is why they are keen to have so many DR players registered with us. We as a club will have to be carefull we don't lose such outstanding coaches to another club ! Nearly all of the young players they have helped to develop have gone on to gain caps at 18 20 or sevens or Saxons or full honours !
