The names being mentioned and Landis being repeated over and over was not McQuaid. Keep in mind that despite what McQuaid has said we still don't have a B sample confirmation, which is another issue in itself. You don't understand how a non-confirmed name being leaked can get some money for a lab worker? How many hits are those news websites getting because of the Landis angle? How many papers will be sold? Just look at how many people showed up on this forum to discuss this because of an unconfirmed name. It all goes back to money. That's why tabloids can say Clinton slept with an alien and they will sell a ton of papers.
